The Yoga Lodge
Welcome to The Yoga Lodge, the latest addition to Deighton Lodge. This is our gorgeous little space for Yoga classes and Yoga Retreats; an exquisitly designed Yoga den in the peace and quiet of the Yorkshire Countryside. Located only 4 miles from York City center, we are easily accessible from the surrounding areas but far enough away to feel like you are fully retreating to a tranquil hideaway.
Take a journey down the long gravel driveway, lined with rolling fields and farmland. Dissapear from life on one of our Wellness Wednesdays, or a Therapeutic Thursdays where you can enjoy 2 Yoga classes, lunch and ample tea, coffee and snacks all for just £55. A Yoga Retreat all rolled into just one day (and it can actually fit into the schoool day!)... Or tag on a few extra days and join us on one of our 3 day Yoga Retreats, offering 7 Yoga classes of mixed styles, unlimited food and snacks, herbal teas and coffees, stunning en-suite accommodation, and an onsite guest therapist, Vasuki Ayurveda, who you can book a massage or other treatment with for that final piece to the relaxing puzzle. In the evenings we offer Yoga Nidra and Meditation and throughout the mornings we offer Pranayama, Mindfulness and Meditation. The Yoga classes comprise of a mix of Vinyassa flow, Ashtanga and Yin, all delivered by phenomenal Yoga teachers locally based in York.
The Yoga Lodge also offers daily classes from a mix of Back to Basics, to Vinyassa Power flow, catering for all abilities, there will definitely be a yoga class that suits you and if you just want to sit and chill, we host a beautifully tranquil evening once a month with our Mind.Full.Moon Meditation evenings: Restorative Yoga, Mindfulness, Guided Meditation and an opportunity to 'Let Go' of all of those things in our lives that no longer serve us. Powerful evening to behold and definitely worth a try.
