Welcome to Weddings at Deighton Lodge
If your dream wedding venue is something completely bespoke and not your typical ‘Hotel Chain Wedding’ then you’ve come to the right place. Deighton Lodge is set within 3 acres of beautiful farmland just on the outskirts of York. With one large, pitched roof barn, a maximum capacity of 200 people, a 7-bedroom farmhouse to accommodate your guests, stunning manicured gardens with rustic touches, (such as our vintage tractor pictured), bridal parlour, several legally binding ceremony spaces and a beautiful smaller reception room with full glass frontage, ideal for arrival drinks and canapes.
Trestle Table Reception
Trestle tables are a great way of having a more rustic appearance to your wedding breakfast. You can add interest to your setup by positioning the tables in rows, herringbone or theatre styles.
Round Table Reception
Round tables enable you to fit up to 12 people in a circle which works great for mingling and communicating in groups. Traditionally a reception would have a top table but round tables are becoming more popular for these.

Why not take a look at our beautiful converted rustic barn with original pitched roofs, distinctive spoked beams, bare brick walls and traditional stable doors.
With acres of beautiful rolling fields, Deighton Lodge is simply stunning in its rural farm setting. This vastly spacious newly renovated barn is a one of a kind and accommodates up to 200 guests. Quirky re-fashioned fittings and cosy snugs could be the backdrop to a truly rustic, personalised dream Wedding set against the stunning Yorkshire countryside.
With just 15 weddings per year, we guarantee you a completely exclusive event, eliminating that production line feeling. We assure you a completely tailor made and unique experience true to you and your fiancé.

And.... What's more, all of your guests can stay in our Farmhouse accommodation and the bride can use our stunning Bridal Parlour to get ready in.

The Bridal Parlour
Our Bridal Parlour is the latest addition to the venue and in complete contrast to the rest of the rustic and rural wedding venue, is a luxurious treat for the Bride to pamper herself and her bridesmaids on the day of the Wedding.
It is lavish and exquisite in its make up with some really fabulous finishing touches. Weddings begin in the Bridal Parlour!
